It is also part of this challenge the conclusion of several works of mobility and infrastructure, some of them considered as legacies for those who will live or visit the Wonderful City. With less than six months to start the competitions, an official balance carried out by the Municipality in the start of January shows that works are 90 to 100 percent concluded.

An important new data gathered in this evaluation was the work progress in theYouth Arena. Till December, 2015, progress estimation of these works was of 75 percent. In January, it reached 80 percent. The Project, located in the Deodoro Complex (western zone of Rio) will shelter the competitions of fencing, modern pentathlon, some basketball games and wheelchair fencing, to be carried out during the Paralympic Games.
